SHASTHRAYAAN – 2018

Activities conducted:

• Spot Registration for free drinking water analysis
• A PowerPoint presentation about the Department of Environment Studies, the various subjects offered at the department, future prospects of students, career options and areas of study was showcased.
• Various services such as drinking water analysis, soil fertility analysis for farmers, awareness talks on waste management practices, waste to wealth creation, recycling, reuse, reduction of waste, vermin-composting systems, ground water recharge techniques etc. were provided by the department to the community.
• Consulting services to the community with regards to environmental related problems or projects were started.
• Exhibition of specimens, charts, important equipment for analysing water, air, soil pollution was conducted.
• A documentary show related to Wetland conservation/Environmental protection was organized.
