Water Literacy Mission

A mission for water literacy was introduced in the Kalliassery Panchayath of Kannur District. This mission saw the participation of “Kudumbasree Members”, political leaders, environmentalists, NGO’s and other agencies working in the field of Water conservation. Field oriented activity was also included in this programme.

Action oriented Activities

Water Testing: Drinking water testing programme was conducted in the Anthur Municipality of Kannur District. In this programme, the physico –chemical and biological properties of water of public and private wells were tested and  a ‘water card’ was issueed to owners.
