Department of Botony

The Department of Botany is one of the constituent Departments of the Kannur University which

aims to train the students to develop important range of advanced and specialized skills in plant

science research.

The Post Graduate Department of Botany of the Kannur University was recently formed in2021

at Mananthavady Campus. The MSc plant science programme was started with a specialization

in Ethnobotany in the same year.
