Courses and eligibility

Course Name	Eligibility
MA MALAYALAM	BA with Malayalam with as Core Course/Part III excluding Subsidiaries with not less than 50 % marks or equivalent GPA excluding subsidiaries/ Complementary Courses or BA.B.Sc with Malayalam as Common Course with not less than 50% Marks or equivalent GPA in Common Course/additional language. Weight age of 10% marks or GPA shall be given to the candidates who have studied Malayalam as Core Course. Candidates those who have passed LRP Programme like BBM, BBA, B.Com and B.Sc etc. are not eligible for MA Malayalam Programme. Candidates belonging to other socially and economically backward communities are eligible for a relaxation of 5 per cent marks in the qualifying examination. Those belonging to scheduled castes/scheduled tribes having secured a pass in the qualifying degree examination are eligible to apply for admission to the Programme.
