ACADEMIC WRITING AND PUBLICATION

Two Day National Workshop on the topic Academic Writing and Publication Conducted at Dr.P.K.Rajan Memorial Campus by IQAC Kannur University on 8 th and 9 th February 2018.This program scheduled to different session. The first session started with speech by Dr.C.R.Prasad to whom welcome speech given by Dr V.Kumaran ( Course Director department of Hindi), session started sharply at 10 am presided by Dr.A.M Sreedharan (HOD Malayalam).The felicitation speakers were Dr.Kunhahammed (HOD Studies in English) and Dr.Reeja .V. This session ended with vote of thanks by Nishi George.The second session started from at 10.30 am and ended at 1.30 pm with the paper presented by Dr.C.R .Prasad on the topic Academic Writing and Format of writing. The next part of the session continued till 1.30 pm and afternoon session started at 2 pm with the presentation by Dr.N.Suresh on the topic Classification of the Research and concluded at 4 pm .The morning session of the second day started at 9.30 am and three papers were presented. The first one was Data Collections Techniques - Data processing and Report writing by Dr.Raghavan Payyanad followed by Dr.Priys S.Nair on the topic Trends in Literature Reserch and Publication of Thesis.The last paper was presented by Dr.Ravishankar on the topic Ethics of Writing. The valedictory session was inaugurated by Dr. Ravishankar.S.Nair .The certificate distribution to the participants was done by Dr.Kunhahammed .K.K.Total 62 members presented in this Workshop out of which 54 were Female and 8 were Male.
