Two-day National conference on “Banks and Access to Financial Services in India

Date: 16th and 17th March 2018.

The Two-day National conference was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Sunil Mani (Director, Centre for Development Studies, Thiruvanthapuram). The conference was about the Growth issues and challenges of banking and financial services. The conference theme is justified in the context of the present globalisation economy where banking technology Macro level.

Eminent persons/ faculties from various national level subjects like Environmental institutions delivered plenary/invited talk in the conference as resource persons. Five Plenary sessions were handled by the Resource Persons V. Dhanya (Assistant Adviser, Department of Economic and Policy Research, Reserve Bank of India), Prof. (Dr.) D. Narayana (Director, Gulati Institute of Finance and Taxation, Thiruvanthapuram), Prof. (Dr.) Sripathi Kalluraya P (Professor, Department of Economics, Mangalore University, Mangalore), Prof. (Dr.) Hari Kumar(Professor and Head, Department of Applied Economics, Cochin University of Science and Technology), and Prof. (Dr.) K. Gangadharan (Professor and Head, Department of Applied Economics, Kannur University) respectively. Delegates from different National and State Universities participated in the Conference.
