International conference on “Innovation & Inclusion in Banking: Issues Strategies and Options”

The conference discussed the lessons of innovation and inclusion in banking with a vision to document the inclusive growth strategy for India.

Sri. Mullappalli Ramachandran, Hon’ble minister of state for Home Affairs, Govt. of India inaugurated the International conference on Innovation & Inclusion in Banking: Issues Strategies and Options on 3rd February 2011 funded by NABARD, ICSSR, RBI and UGC.

Keynote Address was delivered by Dr. Harsha Aturupne, Lead Economist, Human Development Unit, World Bank. Colombo. Vaedictory Adress was made by Prof.(Dr.) Alimullah Miyan, Vice chancellor, International University of Business Agricultural and Technology, Dhaka, Bangaladesh. 246 persons from inside and outside the country registered for the conference.
