Contributions to Teaching:

As a teacher, I would prefer critical pedagogy as against the banking method of education. Prior to my joining here, I served as a teacher for more than 20 years and as Principal for 6 years in Fatima Mata National College (Autonomous), Kollam. As the Chairman of the Academic Council and Secretary to the Governing Council of the College, I became instrumental in bringing about paradigmatic shift from teacher centric to student oriented learning, the pedagogy augmented by ICT enabled, OBE focused and mentoring systems in the institution .

The several papers presented in the International and National Conferences and the Invited lectures have provided inputs to the academic community in particular and to the society at large.
