The new methodologies were discussed in the light of some of the recently published theses and students were asked to ponder over some of the complex methodological issues and come up with participatory ideas. The new methodologies discussed were focussing upon philosopher theorists like Jacques Derrida, Michel Foucault, Agamben, and Slavoj Zizek.

Students were given specific directions to read the seminal essays of these philosophers and practise the methods of critiquing writers and their works with deeper understanding and perceptive thinking. The session began at 9.30 and concluded at 4.30 with a lunch break from 1pm to 2pm.
