Local community development in collaboration with DIET School

Date: February 2019 to March 2019.

The short-term research project on local community development by the Department of Studies in English, Kannur University was conducted in collaboration with DIET School, Chirakuni, Palayad on 02.03.2019 and 05.03.2019. The programme was inaugurated by Prof. S. Gregory, former professor of the Department of Anthropology, Kannur University. The objectives of the project were basic language skills development, imparting communication skills, analysis of school level English education, community development through language acquisition, and enhancing society oriented programmes of the department.
