Department of Medical Biochemistry

Kannur University established Department of Medical Biochemistry in 2005 with the objective of training post graduates in various basic medical, paramedical and para-clinical subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry,  Pharmacology, Hospital Management and Administration, Medical Documentation, Public Health etc. Human resources developed in various disciplines of Health Sciences can be effectively utilized in various institutions engaged in medical education and health care. The requirement of trained personnel in Health Care and related fields are increasing globally and the wide gap existing in the requirement of qualified persons is to be filled up by providing quality training facilities in the northern part of Kerala, by the University. The courses are designed with hundred percentage placement potential in the Health Care system within the country and around the world. The courses are designed and conducted to the above aim.
