CONCLUDED STUDENT ACTIVITIES

MOOT COURT CLUB

Date: NA

Moot court training is the most effective and time tested method for developing the lawyering skills in a student. Participation of a student in a moot court session gives opportunity to the students to unveil their professional skills and it helps to enhance self-confidence. It enhances the argumentative skill of the students to an excellent level and improves the language, fluency and clarity in speaking. Moot court preparation helps to develop  drafting skills, skill to identify and analyse a problem, to find out the legal points, the ability to interpret the law and facts etc. with the objective of uplifting our students to an excellent level of advocacy. The School of Legal Studies set up a Moot Court Club inside the campus with the participation of the students and faculties. The Moot Court Club functions by organising interclass moot court competitions for the students. The club organises frequent moot court training programmes with the help of legal experts including judicial officers, eminent lawyers and law academicians.
