Ecology, Culture and Heritage

Department of Anthropology in association with Department of History and Department of Rural and Tribal Sociology organized National seminar on ‘Ecology, Culture and Heritage: Mapping Indigenous knowledge beyond disciplines’ on 14-16 March 2018 at Thalassery campus. Around 80 participants attended the seminar in addition to the participation of Resource persons. Seminar discussed the various aspects of tribal ecology, culture and heritage from the perspectives of tradition and transformation.
