Globalization and Teacher Education; methodologies and strategies

A National Seminar was conducted on “Globalization and Teacher Education; methodologies and strategies” at School of Pedagogical Sciences, Dharmasala on 1st and 2nd September 2014.

The seminar was inaugurated by Dr. Abdul Khader, Vice Chancellor of Kannur University,   Prof. Dr. M.A Sudhir, Director, Department of Applied Research; Gandhigram Rural University presided over the function. Resource persons prof. Dr. M.A Sudhir, Director, Department of Applied Research, Gandhigram Rural University, Dr. K.P Suresh Assistant Professor, SPSS, M.G University, Dr. Anil Kumar K, Assistant Professor, Regional institute of Education, Mysore, engaged expert classes on Professional development for global teaching, Trends in 21st century: Designing Educational Research, Emerging perspectives on higher education.

A number of 250 (Teachers, Research Scholars, students of various institutions) participated in the seminar. 146 papers were presented.
