Web content management system is a set of tools that provides an organization to manage digital information on a website through creating and maintaining content without prior knowledge of web programming or markup languages. The three key features of any WCMs are that they have the ability to design, create and maintain personalized content for a website. A well designed up to date website is critical for a library of any size in today’s information society. The workshop equipped the library professionals to create own library website and blogs using html, wordpress etc. and thereby disseminating information effectively and expeditiously.
