“One day national Seminar on National Knowledge Network and UGC- Infonet “ was organized on May 2010. Mr. Manoj Kumar K., Scientist, INFLIBNET, delivered the lecture.

Dr. M. Bavakutty welcomed the participants; Presidential address was delivered by Sri. K M Abdul Rasheed, Registrar, Kannur University and the Programme was inaugurated by Prof. P K Michael Tharakan, Vice Chancellor, Kannur University. Dr. Dinesan K , Assistant Librarian has given the vote of thanks.

It was actually a very good experience to the students and scholars of the Department and also to the University students as a whole. Mr. Manoj Kumar has given a very good picture of the UGC- Infonet and its components.

Library users of Kannur University, Thalassery Campus has got a broad overview of National Knowledge and Network.

It was actually an informative session to the students, research scholars and faculties of the University.
