District Legal Services Authority [ DLSA ]

On 4th of February 2022, the District Legal Services Authority in association with School of Legal Studies, Kannur University, Manjeshwar Campus conducted a one day awareness programme on services of Legal Service institutions and mediation process for the LL.M(1 st year) students at DSLA Hall, Kasaragod. The programme began at 12 noon with the welcome address of Sri. Dineshan.K, who is the section officer of DLSA, Kasaragod.

The first session was taken by Sri.Suhaib, sub Judge and Secretary of LSA,Kasaragod. The session was on the topic Legal Services Authorities Act 1987 & Various Schemes of NALSA (National Legal Services Authority). The next session was scheduled to be with the District and Sessions Judge Sri.Krishna Kumar sir. This session was an interactive session where the students and faculty members introduced themselves and he conveyed his ideas and experience as Judge and as well as his experience as a student.

The programme was concluded with the vote of thanks by Mr.Vishnuprasad Menon, Asst. Professor, School of Legal Studies, Manjeshwar Campus. Where he thanked Sri.Shuhaib, Sub-judge, Sri.Krishna Kumar sir, the District and Sessions Judge Kasaragod, Sri.Dineshan.K. and the officials of the DLSA, Kasaragod for conducting such a fruitful session
