The teaching and learning scenario has been changed drastically during the past few decades with the onset and proliferation of ICT (Information and Communication Technology). Today learners are born in to a technologically rich world and they have natural interaction with technology. So it is very important to provide the learning experiences according to the needs and interests of the tech savvy students. Activity oriented class room with integration of technology will be a suitable option for these learners. Inclusion of ICT in education facilitates instant access to accurate information with infinite opportunities to practice, especially in Science learning. More over ICT can create a rich learning experience by using a combination of text, graphics, sound and video. Learning by doing is the most effective way of learning Science. It enhances the effectiveness of the learning process. The advantages of ICT tools include one to one interaction with students; opportunity for self-paced learning and immediate feedback.

We propose to develop a web portal for online tutoring system for promoting blended mode E learning system for school students. This system also can utilise for promoting community learning. Through blended mode we conducted Python Programming course for selected students of Kannur district in collaboration with science park Kannur.
