One Day Seminar

Date: 26th August 2009

The Department, in association with Malabar Institute of Research & Development, Vadakara, organized a one day seminar on 26th August on the topic Shared Heritage of Dutch in Kerala. The seminar was inaugurated by Prof.Michael Tharakan,Vice Chancellor of Kannur University. Prof.K.S Mathew, Director, IRISH, Thalassery, delivered the presidential speech. Dr.K.K.N Kurup, Former Vice Chancellor, Calicut University, presented the theme paper. Other resource persons of the seminar included Dr. K.V. Kunhi Krishnan (Visiting Professor, S.S.U.S Kalady), Prof.Philip Mathew (Calicut University) and Dr.V.V. Kunhi Krishnan (Former DDE, Calicut).
